I am Sr. Regina Namaleha. I come from Africa - Uganda. I am the second youngest of Eight Children inthe family. My parents were Catholics and they raised us and taught us the Catholic faith.
I joined the Sisters of Mary’s order in Kenya after high school exams. I had four years of formation, training in Spirituality and in the year 1994 I become a nun. I was appointed to work in the Orphanage for one year. After that I joined the teachers’ Collage and trained as a teacher.
In 2003 I went back to college and majored in Special Needs Education. In 2007 I obtained Degree in Education. I was a principle of an Elementary School for 3 years and a teacher for 10 years.
I have been a sister for 16 years and worked as a superior for the community for 7 years. I came to this diocese in 2010 and I was appointed to work with the Children in St. Peter Catholic School. I teach religion to the 2nd and Confirmation. I prepare the children for the Liturgy for Fridays and Sundays for St. Peter Mass. I work with all the teachers in their Classes as teachers’ Aide.
I enjoy my work and I love working with the Children and the teachers. The parents and the entire community of Ontario are Supportive to me.
