My husband and I moved to Ontario in 2014. However, I was born and lived on the Oregon Coast most of my life.
I have three grown sons; two daughter-in-laws, and three grandsons.
I began my career as an Administrative Assistant at Sause Bros. Ocean Towing Co., in Coos Bay, OR, in 1989. I worked there for 18 wonderful years.
In 2003, my husband retired from the US Coast Guard. He was self-employed for a while as a contractor and finish carpenter in Oregon and Montana, but was fortunate to be able to resume his federal career at Theodore Roosevelt National Park in Medora, North Dakota. We enjoyed living there for five years. During our moves, I continued my career working as an Administrative Assistant at Montana Tech University, as a Legal Secretary in Dickinson, ND, and an Administrative Assistant at Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota.
When my middle son and his family permanently relocated to the Portland, Oregon area, after living in Texas, and Japan with the US Air Force, we knew then we wanted to get back to Oregon to be closer to our grandsons.
A position perfectly fitting Dave’s expertise opened up with Bureau of Land Management in Vale in 2014, and we were able to transfer. We jumped at the chance to be Oregonians again!
We are so very blessed to be here in Ontario! I feel especially welcomed as part of the St. Peter Catholic School family. Thank you!
