Barn Dance Volunteering & Obligations

Barn Dance is coming up and part of what makes the event
such a wonderful success for our school is parent
participation and generous unobligated volunteers.

Volunteers:
Thank you for your interest in helping out with this important St. Peter fundraiser.  We
welcome all volunteers and would urge you to contact those listed below if you wish to
help St. Peter School and its mission through this fundraiser.

Parents:
As in past years, it is asked of each parent in each family to schedule one set-up shift
or clean-up shift for the Barn Dance AND one shift at the Event.  This works out to
FOUR shifts per family or TWO shifts per person to insure a fun and safe event.

If you are unable to meet this requirement you may find a responsible volunteer to
fulfill your family’s commitment or a fee of $300.00 will be charged, as stated on the
    registration form.

We understand that you are all very busy people, with jobs, children and various other
obligations, we will work with you in any way possible to find a shift that best suits your
    needs.

Keep in mind that the set-up shifts will run Wednesday, Thursday & Friday evenings
prior to the event and the clean-up shift will run Sunday after the event and can also
include some work to b done the following week.  The Barn Dance shifts include
kitchen duties, grilling, silent auction, door & bar tickets, bartending, security, garbage
detail, door prizes and can also include tending to auction items that night and the
following morning.  Clearly, there are plenty of shift and many choices.  These shifts fill
up early so it is necessary to call one of us soon as possible.

Thank you in advance for your help and understanding; we will look forward to talking
    to you soon.
